And "The Wizard's Tale" by and David T. Wenzel. This originally came out when I was in a bit of a black hole, so I missed it. I have Wenzel's Hobbit adaptation, so I know it's going to be great visually. I hunt for the original issues at every shop I visit. Someday.

(BTW: In 1970 director John Boorman began work on a Lord Of The Rings film for United Artists. It would be an unusual adaption; The Beatles would be the Hobbits and Kabuki theatre would open the movie .

Alas the studio said 'No', so he made Zardoz instead...)

My titled "Sleeping Smaug" (watercolor on paper, 42x59,4 cm - A2, 2016, SOLD), based on "the Hobbit" by Luckily, I've finished this before the second Hobbit movie, so this dragon is just mine - not a copy of any kind.

It's Sunday, time for a nice warm bath, a toke of the ol hobbits leaf, and drifting away from the worries of the global pandemic. You deserve it.

Has there ever been a friendship like Samwise Gamgee and Frito Baggins? 😊
