Normalmente só faço tracing de fotos quando preciso de alguma referência de pose, ou quando realmente vou fazer uma ilustração baseada na foto, como a que fiz da Pabllo ou da Oumi, mas nunca vai além do início do sketch, detalhes eu evito pra tentar manter o estilo e treinar

also with the tracing, I would trace the pose with the stick figure method and keep taking the layer on and off to make sure the anatomy was looking right.

Now, if you DO use a ref like that, post the ref with the art!
Here's an example from about....a year and a half ago now??

I actually learned drawing by tracing him when I was like 6yrs old. Using the Mario party 2 manual. He was my main in Mario kart 64 and every game where he appears after ( like smash !). So yea, he deserve all the love today ! All hail,the king of Koopas !

there is some more but it's simple tracing assingments that I did. I made a mistake with where I should attach the muscles. the pectorals should be more attached to the arms. criticism is apreciated.
