VEIL - This time I based myself on the veil of Maya, the Hindu belief that we live in an illusion and only those who manage to open their eyes can know the truth 😴🤯👁🌌

"a simple dim ray..." "...full upon the vulture eye. It was open, wide open, and I grew furious as I gazed upon it. I saw it with perfect distinctness: All a dull blue, with a hideous veil over it that chilled the very marrow in my bones..."

.:In the Veil:.

In a form unfamiliar, she discovers there were many things unseen even by her.

Things that exist on top of a reality she's used to, yet are so different.

And, unfortunately, the forgotten see her too, for the intruder she is.

-Only here can they correct that.

People might think I'm crazy for this, but I actually want to see Mileena in a hood! I want one in MK11. With a veil like that too, I think this would work, personally. It's different! This piece is called "The Thief" by an artist named Baranha from DeviantArt.

Gethsemoni was easily one of my favorites. On the surface a vain character who exists only to serve herself, but behind that veil is possibly one of the most loyal and caring figures in Death's Court. She cares so much she will wound her children if it means saving them.

Type: Psychic

Shiny particles are released from its wings like a veil. It is said to represent the crescent moon.

Fellas, is it gay to get married in a veil embroidered with symbolism of your platonic best friend? 🤔

(Creature design) // WIP

Coyotes of the southern border, and perhaps beyond the veil of our realm, are told to have eyes like burning coals, and smoke like chimney to hide their numbers

The sketch for this was much more elaborate than the end result but for the sake of time I had to tone a few things down when I started inking. I did end up keeping all the lace detail in the veil since that was the focal point of this piece.
