They got me through a stupid tough time and helped me understand a lot of my emotions- also if i ever show their story, i want to help others get out of a tough spot as well, so their story has a lot of that too

is a hashtag that was made for ME and my boy Jack... my first duckverse oc that wasn't even supposed to be one, he turned into one of my favorite ocs I've ever made, even tho he's a bastard. hes simultaneously a massive comfort and a massive discomfort character

And from a design standpoint, he's a comfort OC in that certain particulars of his design can change (shapeshifting, mask designs, accessories), so I'm always able to draw him without feeling like I'm "not getting him right sometimes."

Miyako is a sort of reflection of the more vulnerable and lonely side of me... but Yato offers Miyako the understanding and guidance she needs in her life — mirroring my need for a strong male figure

I have a lot of OCs and I love them, but nothing helps me detox and unwind than drawing my girls. Probably because they are easier for me to draw and I’m always happy with how they turn out.

Hawk, Gray, Crescent. I wish I had better photos right now. These three are some of my oldest OCs...I feel like I can go back and rely on them, and they're familiar, so that's nice. Out of all of my OCs, I feel this trio has been the most comfort OCs. Also, nostalgia.
