Pixel Art Tip:

Take note of how much detail is put into a character sprite. The more complex it is, the harder it will be to animate in the future. Difficulty may include amount of objects, patterns, anatomy, etc. Although, this can be subjective based on one's strong points.

Whenever I draw I end up drawing the entire object and erase it when I draw something on top. Probably 20% of the illustration ends up erased in the process, but I think it’s the best way for me to understand exactly what I’m drawing (Small example of what I’m talking about)
