Sitting at 83k with 10 hours to go, I'm floored by the amount of support this book has received. The previous two books fought so hard in terms of funding that this is just an utterly new experience to me. My new art budget is healthy. I have some measure of tackling shipping.

One good method to work within a hard tile budget is to coarsely layout the scene in solid-colour 8x8 tiles *first*, then start chiseling out details as you need them. While doing so, you'll often find that the tile you've just chiseled can get repeated in other places.
