「crowsフレーム」は全身に配されたコネクタにより高い拡張性を有しており、多くの試験機体が開発され実地での試験運用が行われました。

しかしその体躯故「前面投影面積が広く被弾リスクが高い」という弱点を孕んでおり、殺人的なコストも相まって量産機として舞台に立つ事はありませんでした。

バルクアーム級ヘキサギアとして認知（？）されている両フレームですが、実は最初の原型である「crowsフレーム」はバルクアームの2倍の体躯を有する大型機でした。

BMIを使用する関係上限界まで人型に近付ける必要があった上、当時はバルクコックピットを流用していた為機体が巨大化したのです。
