Wolf & the 7 Young Goats. In this the wolf sees a mother goat leave her 7 kids at home. With the help of a Baker, wolf tricks the kids into opening the door; swallowing them whole! Mother goat finds wolf & saves her kids. Stitching him up with rocks.

London illustrator Charles Robinson was the son of an illustrator, his two brothers were also illustrators (one was William Heath Robinson) He secured a place to study at The Royal Academy but hadn't enough money to attend. This is his Red Riding Hood c. 1910

In Lang's Red Fairy Book 1890, you find Charles Marelle's tale "The True History of Little Goldenhood". The enchanted hood made by grandmother witch, burns wolf like scorching red-hot coals. In this way, he is defeated. No wood-cutter necessary
