we consider gnomes(dwindi) generally harmless in my country, but on a trip with some vietnamese friends to a mountain, saw a gnome statue on a rock. as a laugh, i bowed as i passed by, and my vietnamese friend walked passed, saw me bow, and ran back and in panic and bowed too
