Okay so I have told y'all how while I like gradient maps for coloring, I'm never quite happy with the skin tones. So far this way messier overlaying of layers seems to give me better results.

One of the most unique styles I’ve seen belongs to @Bellebubben. I don’t usually notice the brushes artists use but hers is so funky and unique. She’s another artist whose use of lighting is so inspiring, and honestly her art in general motivates me to improve my own art
