I feel like these are the pieces where my lineart just wows me.
But i can feel myself getting more confident in my lineart. I finally settling in to my own artstyle. And i couldnt be happier~

@andouilles So a good way to be unsettling with bright colors is to push your bright colors even further. Also having the subject of the drawing looking directly at the camera (the viewer) can create some really uncomfortable effects! Tried to draw up sort of an example.
@veronicandjelly Yeah I mean I think it’s really just the male painters that make me eye twitch but I spent a lot of time pouring over people like Gauguin who had a series of weird/unsettling/voyeuristic paintings of Tahitian women that I think are beautiful and still think about often
