@StrawberineFox So it seems like it works better with more "pure" colors. My method is usually just using a darker shade of the color I'm shading with (first 2 are Darken, next 2 are Multiply)
It's weird to think that it wasn't until Build that they designed a lead Kamen Rider with the classic red/blue superhero colors. Maybe they thought it would be too on-the-nose, given that they're primary colors, but it looks good with the black to break it up.

his nose & forehead circle (a reflective spot!) are interchangable colors. The nose is a lightbulb, and the spot will alternate accordingly to be opposite of the nose! think of it as a magnetic coaster he can swap out, theres nothing under but a shallow indention where it sets

Here’s the original 😊 it’s nice seeing shueisha’s improvement in the colors. In both general shading and with palettes. Unlike the other colored manga parts, JoJolion has a LOT of instances of color swaps and unnatural colors (yellow Morioh sky)! Feels more JoJo.
