I think there's some credibility to Knux's suspicion. Babylonians are intergalactic refugees, so it follows that there are many sporadic remnants of bird cultures across the world + many surviving species that likely evolved differently due to their unique environments.

finished the Sci-Fi chapter, a conceptually interesting hybrid of Alien and 2001 that's really an interactive narrative with JRPG sprites (very much like Corpse Party). surprisingly atmospheric and tense despite the squat characters and limited environments. and no battles!
