It contains an account of a journey from Venice to Palestine, Mount Sinai and Egypt, made in 1465.

For most of my books I like to have the story fairy figured out and aim to pitch with a full dummy (manuscript written, with book sketches, and couple final colour examples). Simon was one of those rare exceptions, it was pitched with the above concept art and this short pitch.
I rarely do throwbacks... but why not now? This is the time, after all. =)
