Flower lore fascinated both Shakespeare & the Victorian artist, Walter Crane. Here are some of Crane’s works from his enchanting book on the flowers of Shakespeare.🌷#FolkloreThursday @FolkloreThurs
Columbine was also known as “Granny bonnet”.
It was thought to be a thankless flower and the emblem of forsaken lovers.

@ticktacktickle Quick doodle before bed. Chose 1971 Grimace with his four arms and habit of stealing shakes
The fire and cracks
Of sulphurous roaring the most mighty Neptune
Seem to besiege and make his bold waves tremble,
Yea, his dread trident shake.

I never actually posted most of my Tempest project anywhere because I was so disappointed with the show being cancelled. Now, I'm just grateful for the opportunity I had to create this project.

Anyone else know where I could uh, sample one of those milkshakes?
@Jewelinhistory1 @JesseTheMeehan its just... /shakes fist/... so good.
There's a chain of diners around here, Shari's, that has a pretty nice selection of pies on their menu, and...I think the one I default to most of the time is their s'mores pie.
I'm also a fan of their pie shakes, where they take a pie slice and just blend it up with ice cream.
Check out my wonderful pic from @Cheyanne_Author!
Still in outlining stages for his book, but Phidest is a priest with limited ability to see into the futures, trying to raise a king-to-be while protecting what he has seen will be a kingdom. A bit Merlin X Shakespeare's Brutus
