I've noticed something interesting on the map. I always thought Xadia was a bit too small to fill a whole planet, there has to be other continents! And indeed, if you take a look at the lower part of the map there are 2 big landmasses, onscured by the decoration!

As for the abdomen, that just takes a lot of tries in my experience. Just kinda keep "ctrl+z"ing it and redraw it until it looks right. You do have to keep in mind that it continues even past what is obscured, or you can end up with it lopsided.
