The way I did this lineart was actually by cleaning up the sketch, hence thicker lines. I'm not sure if that was more efficient. XD

I think I figured what's bothering me, it's the lack of outlines, not so much the smooth shading.

They use the shading to compensate having no outlines which gives an incomplete feeling to me.

Whereas in Looney Tunes: Back in Action they still had cartoony outlines.

Oh! This is definitely the one! I had been wanting to get rough, pencil-like lines for the longest time while still enjoy my beloved G pen. when I sketch on actual paper I tend to flesh out with bold lines. Thank you again for all of your help and the amazing tutorials.

I do it all on my phone with the medibang app.

Most of the coloring and shading is all done on the same layer. I pick the colors myself instead if a multiply layer. And sometimes I dont sketch and go straight to lines.
