Funny enough, to this day the one thing I still retained from one of Katy Coope's manga books (that exact one on the left) was to draw the pupils like a "J". I only apply this when drawing traditionally, like when I do concept sketches.

4/4 the rest of the images which were all "banner"-sized.

Illustrated fic was fun even tho I'm def not doing this traditionally again, haha...it's an interesting midpoint between fic and comic.

sometimes the first go is not final, usually when i make a design, i’ll work at it on paper bc my style is so different traditionally and then rework it on digital once more
