ONCE UPON A TIME…SPACE (1982) was a French sci-fi series, and one of my first TV memories.
It had an educational side: it explained concepts such as the rings of Saturn, or black holes. Whenever I’m bored I sometimes talk like Maestro (4), who had this wobbly old man’s voice.
THE DARK CRYSTAL (1982) concept art by Harry Lange, and images from 1978 test footage shot at Jim Henson’s home in Bedford, NY.
It took me an eternity but it's finally done !
Commission for Revontulet1982.
Okay, so while I was working on a commission, one that involved the aesthetic of the witch from Conan (1982). I watched it for research purposes. And it..was..kinda..weirdly...hot. So...Conan...trying to survive evil, possibly demonic, witch sex. Go Inspiration!

Vintage arcade art of MS. PAC-MAN (1982), one of the most successful arcade games of all time. I’m old enough to sort of remember the game being around still. Word on the street was that it was better than the original Pac-Man.

CLOSING MAY 5—"Into the Void: Prints of Lee Bontecou"
While best known for her wall reliefs, Lee Bontecou produced a series of important prints between 1962 and 1982. The images are unmistakably hers: black voids, cosmic orbs, and strange, hybrid forms: https://t.co/kcQxNZ4rBo
