Plus there are some things AI just could never draw anyway. Like, just google "AI girl eating ramen" for example. It's notoriously bad at drawing such a basic thing that a human artist could draw easily. It could never create exactly what a person is paying for.

just wanna jump in to say exactly that. my friend took one of my art pieces and put it in an ai, and you can see how it stripped the misery out for general soullessness. (and made the character a girl but that's just nitpicking)

Beep beep. It's the birthday of Frederic Bazille (1841-1870) the pioneering Impressionist who died before the movement took off. He came from Montpellier. I remember recreating the works below in my Impressionism series. The light was exactly right. Just like the paintings.

you don't really get to see them much because it's on a Switch and you can't exactly zoom in, but I like quite a lot of the bigger party sprites in Sword and Shield; while I think the Scarlet and Violet approach is probably better moving forward, these are nice too
