I love the fact that there exists a snes and a gba version of the official art, I feel like redoing my own again..

DETOURED IN BALLYHORN - SNES, 1994

Thanks to
and DM for letting me use their characters and the module we participated in for this experiment! It was a ton of fun to do.

However despite that, despite not really being animated I find the way SNES SMT games are really simple but striking with their characters and using such a small space, the palettes are really nice to boot

Tonight I've been playing 64th Street: A Detective Story for my scrolling beat-em-up book. This one is by Jaleco, and came before it started the Rushing Beat trilogy on SNES.

It has some genuinely hilarious speech samples and a neat background throw mechanic.

My contribution to the whole "4 games that defined your childhood" meme. Might as well put the rest of the Snes/N64 Mario and Kirby catalogue too

This is a nice piece of fanart depicting two of the best games of its time.

I played a LOT of Sim Ant on the SNES when I was younger, and then when I found out it was even BETTER on the PC? I couldnt be stopped.

I also played Pokemon Red, but Silver was such an improvement over it I remember it much more fondly. https://t.co/oES58MVDI5

Post apocalyptic weapons! Firstly is the min-e-gun~ This one is used by a streamer girl who has modded it with some video game related things. The bullets change depending on which SNES game is in! I totally didn't just colour pick for this one 🎮

Its quite easy to beat Bishoujo Senshi for the Super Famicom with Chibi Usa. Her small size makes it impossible for most enemies to even touch her. She can't grab enemies however but I doubt that's even a factor considering.

Parry the Parallel Bird
First appearance: Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! (SNES)
One of Dixie and Kiddy's animal friends. Parry flies overhead, helping the Kongs collect out-of-reach items, but must be carefully guided as he is easily defeated by most enemies.
