I used to believe art was about being talented, but I've been reassured that isn't the case. I was a late bloomer & didn't study or learn properly, but now that's what I'm currently devoting most of my time to doing & I'm proud of how far I've come.

Man the amount of times I've heard that you've had to be talented to be an artist or some shit is ridiculous. The only 'talent' I had was that my mother was an artist and I wanted to be like her, and it's because of that I grew and honed the necessary skills
