So for the jay I went back to SAI, exported every single color layer as its own .png (glad I kept every color on its own layer in the first place! thanks past me!), path->trace bitmapped each one individually in inkscape, then assembled them. Definitely cleaner results.

I just made a faun kitty. This is my very first try. I was worried that the garnet cabochons would shift out of place while pouring the resin, but they didn't. I'm really happy with the results.

Also had leftover resin, so it was more than enough to make other pieces.
