個人的に「ペンの線」を使っているように見えるSNKのキャラはサムスピの「ガルフォード」と「半蔵」
半蔵は元々全身黒いけど、手の線まで黒いのだ！
これは担当者のこだわりだったのかな？

SNKのドット絵って肌の色を表現する時、6種類ぐらいの色を使って細かい層を作る場合が多い(実写風)

でもKOFの場合'99ぐらいからアニメ風の色使い(？)と、ペンの線を意識した黒系も使用していて、肌の色も少ないのでアニメっぽく見える

2000では黒い線はないけど肌の色が少ないまま

Well, SNK did remember and brought back Iori Yagami's Miss X persona for SNK Heroines, and that's not the only thing Iori's been clearly closeted about for years... not sure if they'll ever take the leap, but the character's name was already androgynous anyway...

全く同じ感想です。
自身が龍虎FANなの差し引いても、続編出ない(出ても主人公は相方)事、KOFでの扱い(リョウだけでなく龍虎自体)、“SNK人気キャラ集合！”と謳うイラストにもリョウ不在…。こんな事象を幾度か味わってたので今回のコレや森気楼先生のイラストを観て胸を熱くした旧来FANは多いのでは?
