Here’s an update of the Tomoe and Saaya piece from a while back.
I tend to start flatting with shadows or darker mid-tones and then add the lighter tones, so that’s why the initial stages of my rendering process tends to look a bit dark.

In Tagalog Mythology, Tala was the goddess of morning and evening star and she was supposed to be the creation of Tagalog traditional constellation. She used her stars to lead the ships to safety when the night was very dark.

Giving Rei another redo~ Removing the black hair and black sclera eyes, it made him look really dark. So I gave him some light gray hair, and back to normal white eyes. And of course bacc to bara haha oh and also more digi paint practice
