My new favourite artefact is this miniature amulet in the shape of a gladiator helmet at the London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE (left). Carved from Baltic amber, AD43-170. Romans believed amber had healing powers. It may have been worn as a pendant. Large pic from info panel
