I told myself that one day, i will have the ability to draw a gundam from head. The key was to get a better understanding of perspective and simple shapes. This one has some weak spots which doesn’t function but im proud how it turned out :) (1/2)

Water's Surface from below 2 - I recommend gathering a lot of photo reference and playing around with colors alongside shapes. often contrast of hue (greenish vs blueish) and saturation (grayer vs more saturated) will play a huge part in realism and separation of shapes.

@NutWubbs I think something that would help you a lot with your clouds is to start with big brushes painting big shapes, and then slowly moving to smaller brushes with small shapes. Also varied textures would really make your paintings pop! Here's an example I made real quick.

@SuperMC64 I first created a simple shape based on the texture of the hero's outsole. I then placed it under the shoe I was modeling, to use as a reference for the knife knife. I extracted everything, then reworked the shapes.
