I improved a LOT by doing Smash related content for basically 2 years.
First two drawings are about 5 yrs ago (yeah, i used to scan my drawings cuz i didn't have a tablet lol).

I finally improved my digital painting, but I need to do photo studies again.
Before I didn't know how to control color or rendering so I couldn't replicate references but now I think I can. Not happy feeling like it's a step back, but hoping it'll help me progress now 🤞

I think I've improved, albeit very slowly, since I started with like, no instruction or proper direction; lighting/rendering still kicks my ass tho, I really gotta buckle down and learn it
