If and were characters in a trashy romance novel from the 90s. Which book would you read: For the Love of Memes or Fifty Shades of Green?

I don't think younger fans or those who weren't active back then can appreciate just how popular Tiptup was in the Donkey Kong Universe fandom of the late 1990s. A beloved icon who everyone had pegged as the next Rare megastar with their own game.

Alas...

I did a little mock-up type thing of something you’d see in a gaming magazine in the 90s.

Hi Ben - thanks for this great idea!

Our children's books, by my hubbie John Patience, were originally published by UK & foreign publishers in the '80s/'90s. We've published the Tales from Fern Hollow series of 17 titles again ourselves.

New Article - SCP-6890: Tales of Terror

This is my take on anomalous media. Specifically those kids horror anthology shows that were common in the 90s. Link below:

Well, you think it has. But I don't see this moment as being any more "codified," or in schools, then the virtually identical "political correctness" moral panic of the 90s.

And here are some other various Hirschfeld drawings of George and Gracie, dating from the 1940s thru the 1990s. He obviously captured them at different times in their careers. I like the upper right the best, with his arm again wrapped around her. ❤❤

I have updated his design to the late 90s.

I did this one two years ago, is a good time to rewatch Eerie Indiana, one of the best tv shows in the 90s.

To further show older pieces of her.

Sheep sort of took over the spotlight, but VVV is the true OG out of my OCs.

A ghoul who suffered a tragic death in the 90s.
Currently lives at an abandoned video rental store

She is also one of Sheeps few besties :)

The hashtag is trending so I could showcase another of my girls! This is Saki, and she's been around since the late 90s. Sometimes I feel like she's the least popular out of the main girls in my comic, but I still like her a lot.

It's odd but I think it makes sense that design & arts scene developed a fascination with darker neo-gothic, spiritual aesthetics to deal with the loss, in the late 80s & early 1990s.

FUZZY enough?
And, of course, the TEDDY BEARS are PURPLE for 💜💜💜
(They kind of remind me of Warm-Up Bears, plush line I created for Mattel in the 90s. Pic in comments)

Stumbled upon this vintage Stinky plush from the 90s. Very nice condition, although I had to comb him a little bit to reveal the face.

I actually have a picture of him from a toy catalogue that I scrapbooked when I was around 4-5 years old. See fourth pic.

Celeste Alten, a wild/weird west witch from the 1890s.
She's as beautiful as dangerous. As a powerful witch, she took part in a lot of battles, but now she's trying to change her life. To find a nice place where she can lead a peaceful life.

Addisons appearance are based on a light world internet mascot for a huge advertising site back in the 90s.Even if the mascot isn't used anymore the spirit of what it encompasses makes addisons take its original shape
