2009: Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story

50% playable Bowser, a screwball Fawful-fueled plot, and a near-constant barrage of pure strangeness from start to finish. Although there are Mario RPG games I've enjoyed after, they've never *quite* hit the same after this one.

I reworked the figure a bit the day after, because you couldn't really make it out at all in the first version. I do like the overall feeling of the original better though I think

Even the simple act of giving a villain a code or a line they won't cross so they're willing to help their enemy and then just walk away after, or that they're far superior as a heroic figure.

This works oddly well with a lot of more comedic villains.
