you could maybe make an arguement for diko's blue eye decoration, but i don't personally think it counts as a gem. and ranyui doesn't have any sort of gem decoration.

i wonder if it's a rite of passage for those chosen to be lapis lazuline to get a jewel on their costume.

maybe i'm off-base, but i saw another user point out that the lapis lazulines - the first, second, and third, all have jewels on their chests... whereas the two "failed" lazulines don't (seen below this tweet).
