As for our Batgirls themselves? Again, Cass is an utter delight in the series mostly thanks to artist Jorge Corona giving us SOOOO much fodder for fan artists in just two issues and reaction images for me.
I think why it separates the artists who draw the character. Why also I think I'm really digging Jorge Corona drawing her in Batgirls because even with the white lenses Corona knows when to draw Cass scary but also when to have her be otherwise expressive.
You know the fact that Steph lost her home in Batman Eternal & has basically been hopping from place to place since has literally never been talked about or really explored so it's so interesting to see Batgirls actually touch on that trauma

Two issues in, I think my favorite part of BATGIRLS besides the art is the awkwardness of the relationship between Babs and Steph/Cass. Babs trying way too hard to be a Cool Older Sister and the girls humoring her up to a point while sneakily blowing her off, it's good stuff.
