I don’t want to call ‘Who is Wonder Woman’ bad. But it is perhaps the most aggressively mid Wonder Woman story arc I’ve read so far.
It’s also strange, in its characterizations and in other ways I can’t quite articulate.
Beautiful art though ✨
the avengers (2012) had the best characterization of the hulk and it's so sad to see it get forgotten over time. bruce is a tragic, complex man with a deeply fucked up backstory yet the mcu just uses him for exposition and comic relief.
Of all the things I'm happy Epic got right in this season, Gunnar's characterization is among my favorite.
Seeing him go from a grunt that gets his faced smashed in to a fucking badass enforcer that goes toe-to-toe with Foundation and is obsessed with chainsaws is just amazing.
@Yo_Chelax Tails as a character while being good, had bad characterization nowadays in the main games. But outside of that and before heroes, Tails is a cool hero with a great character arc going from shy and quiet kid who follows his best friend Sonic to a confident hero all on his own.
Fantasy Adventure with deep roots into African culture & mythology Great characterization & art by Isaac Mogajane and @Santtos_Artist respectively make this eminently readable @AfterShockComix Spoiler-free review -> https://t.co/h81Re0ebRX

Warm-up painting of Bobbie Draper from #TheExpanse!
Bobbie is one of my favorite characters from the show, both because of Frankie Adams' wonderful acting and her brilliant characterization by the writers for the series!
@legnards Also...her
I think you'll like her (characterization wise)
My review of the excellent Superman Son of Kal-El #9:

This whole issue/2 parter by @TomTaylorMade and @Bruno_Redondo_F just sings. Great action, superior art, & wonderful characterization between Jon and Dick.
Plus, Jon's trauma addressed!
Just perfect!
Tsukihime
Influential work in the world of VNs, whose main appeal to me was the atmosphere and how it showcased the MC's psychological state. Still, the characterization for most of the cast was lackluster, the romances were rather mediocre and the plot was bare.
6/10
My problem with the final cinematic isn’t that it is a bad cinematic, but the fact that it is actually pretty okay from a cinematography and characterization point of view.
If Zovaal had been a properly developed character, this would have had a completely different impact. Sad.
@husarius01 @SamLizardonStan @StumpyArt Nah, Manga Kale was leagues better than her yandere counterpart.
Not only was she competent but her characterization here as subconsciously holding back out of love and respect for the person who saved her is much better than.
"You look at Sis too long!! Grrrrrr!!!"
"Everything about Kurt’s body and powers is built for movement—for transition from one place to another. And that extends to his characterization. He’s not the things that happen to him. He’s always what he does to move on." -@nolapfau
Though she doesn't get a ton of characterization, Luciola was always super cool to me. A lot of that stems from her connections to Schera, but she also has cool abilities and an interesting backstory.
I want to see more from her, or at least more characters like her!
Towa is so cute!! She's always so friendly and wholesome, and she gets some great moments and characterization in her later appearances too, which is rare.
She's not particularly exciting to me personally, but if I had to pick a female ship for Rean, it'd be Towa hands down.
@DrButcherMD2 ... Bryan Hill's Batman and the Outsiders from 2019, which does a lot with her whole "not-quite-evil, not-quite-good" characterization and develops her relationship with her daughter more than anything since 2002.
Overall, things are way better than they've been in a long time!
2. steve rogers - marvel 616
80 years of characterization so TOO MUCH but i'll go with: i have an identity but is that my real self? or just a role? idk what i really want! UGH nvm i'm not thinking about it anymore. my existential crises are nothing compared to the Greater Good
But if we're going by Cass's characterization? This was for all intents and purposes a good story. Not a good closing story for the character. Just a good story of her taking on outside her norm and beating the crap out of people besmirching the symbol she worships.
Andi, one of the main protagonists after Claire, appeared in a few pages in the www.somnuscomic. intro, but only had like one line. In the next few updates she'll be showing up, and get more characterization.
She's fun to write, and has an easygoing, teasing, sarcastic vibe.
