the new TMNT game is chock-full of amazing pixel-art and great creative choices, but I've found myself wishing the cutscenes had the characters a bit closer to on-model with the tv show, so did a quick paintover of April and Splinter to see how it might look

i think the aesthetic for sonic frontiers is fine for what they’re going for, even if it looks kinda generic, but if they wanted to pursue a more whimsical/typically “sonic” aesthetic, some good places to start would be sonic CD’s FMV cutscenes and the OVA.
