Spotlight on Fizzgig, from Jim Henson’s THE DARK CRYSTAL (1982). Has to be my favorite character from the movie. The indestructable Fizzgig later made a brief appearance as a cave monster in Fraggle Rock.

Though if we're talking really big, pie-in-the-sky productions, my dream idea would not be a Muppet TV series but an entire Muppet Cinematic universe tying together The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Bear, and many others.
