2017- so much unnecessary highlights, weird lighting, weird materials rendering, and of course have no idea how to draw background.

2020- more understanding on how to play with composition and understand a few fundamentals. Still need to learn a lot though.

Horikoshi is such a king; he made FLAT COLORS look FUCKING AMAZING. No shading (except for some in the line art) no highlights, just. flat. colors. And it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Please give that man all the awards.

💛💛 here's some examples of mine! If I had to point out things I think stand out.. colored lines, soft shading with hard highlights, saturated colors, big focus on expressions and body language, androgynous people, and uh.. my "line art" is just very cleaned up sketches

Zuki's redesign was a complete overhaul. There was a lot that I wanted to change in her design make it a bit similar to Roxy. I decided to change her hair to black with brown highlights, give her hazel brown/green eyes, and a new hairstyle. I'm really proud on how it turned out.
