The 2099 comics line I enjoyed then and now, and compared to how all over the place the mainline Marvel comics were at the time, I find that the 2099 stuff still holds up.

Hiroshi Takai is the director of #FFXVI and best known for his work on the SaGa series as well as beeing a key member in the rebirth of FF XIV. In 2015 he left the team to begin work on the next mainline Final Fantasy.

@Millociraptor @ComicGirlAshley In mainline continuity there have been several times he’s been human. Hickman’s run gave him 1 day a year I believe (the FF kids came up with a device). In ultimate FF (the one above) it’s eventually revealed to be a chrysalis and he emerges in this more human energy form.

@CrabLord9 I really like these two (Baruragaru and Pariapuria), pretty much the only Frontier monsters I'd really like to see added to mainline because compared to most they look fairly realistic, I think they'd look great in 5th Gen graphics and lighting.
