Its gonna take some time to build a workflow for this kind of brush, but it feels really nice to use. Something about it lets me just be super loose and less precise

Quick 3D models really shine when you're iterating with quick paintovers. This gives me a feel for what I should do for the landing gear and weapon bays and can check for fit and visual presence.
I was using it to test different paintover techniques/fur effects but don't think I'll continue on this piece.

You know what? Paintover time! Been meaning to do a small edit of how Dan's braids should look, but also ended up adding some warpaint. Also added his facial hair and scars on the second version.
