The story here is Sydney is a very sad and lonely child who has ran away from home following the death of her parents. After protecting the Sobble from a wild Ursaring, Sydney is attacked herself. The cowardly Sobble then steps in to bravely return the favor and a bond is born.

Genuinely forgot I did speculative evolutions for Sobble and Grookey before the final ones had leaked and not to toot my own fuckin horn but my Sobble one is leagues better than Inteleon. The Grookey one was more fun to draw but I admit Rillaboom is better than mine.
