Then there’s Bill Sienkiewicz on MOON KNIGHT over the course of 30ish issues. He started off heavily inspired by Neil Adams, but eventually discovered himself.
While the old Marvel TPB's may've not always reprinted the original covers inside or had some kind of backmatter, the quality of the paper and overall sturdiness was nice. Also when you had some cool cover art.
