Good afternyan~ Today I'm covering 科, department (section) or course.

I had trouble remembering this The best I've come up with is a saw to cut a log into sections.

Kanji are often challenging, so don't give up~

Starting in ten minutes or so~

I've heard quite a lot of good things about Cult of the Lamb, so I'm looking forward to it.

I hear this game has Twitch integration, so you can be part of the Cat-a-cult, too!

See you on my channel: https://t.co/vlT8rk8Bdx

Good afternyan~ the for today is 引, pull.

弓(bow) plus a line indicates the motion of pulling on a bow. And as my example sentences show, you can derive things like "lead" and "discount" from "pull".

Thanks for studying with me. ^_^

Good afternyan~ Today's is 公, prince (and also public/official)!

My shorthand for remembering this kanji is that it's 厶(shorthand for I) with a crown on top, thus "prince".

How might you remember this kanji? There's no wrong way~

Y'ello Explorers!

We set forth in the name of Armok to claim a new mountain home with !

We're probably all going to die! But hey that's the fun part!

Starting in about 30 minutes!

Good afternyan~ Today's is 楽, music, and also fun.

It looks to me like a speaker playing music on top of a tree, so people can dance and have fun underneath it.

I've always liked the word itself, but the kanji is really fun too. ^_^

Good afternyan! The kanji for today is 台, pedestal.

I think of the 口 in this as an actual pedestal with ム on top of it, like an art sculpture.

This is also the kanji that's used for typhoon, 台風. I found that really interesting.

Had an amazing time tonight on Back 4 Blood and got surprised by amazing fanart of me. The wonderful kiddo drew this and I love it! I'm so happy that I am able to do something that inspires creation.

Good afternyan~ Today's kanji is 当, appropriate. It also means "to hit".

This kanji originally started as 尚 above 田, which meant "fields lined up next to each other". Very appropriate, I'd say. ^_^

Study question: How would you remember this kanji?

Good afternyan~ Today I'll be studying 合, to fit.

I couldn't come up with any clever ways to associate this kanji with its meaning; this one I just had to memorize.

If can think of one, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it. ^_^

Starting in about ten minutes, and I will be continuing in

Last time we took out the giant hungry cater-poly that was running laps, so we're taking it a little easier this time.

Good afternyan~ Today I'm studying the kanji 毎, every.

This kanji actually is based on a married woman with her hair pinned up. But since it's 海(ocean) without the 'water' radical, I remember it that way.

Thanks for studying with me~ また明日!

Good evenyan; today's kanji is 電, electricity!

Don't confuse it for 雷, lightning - there's only a small difference between the two. I tell the two apart because 電 has a power cable coming out from it.

Thanks for studying with me~ また明日!

Good afternyan~ Today's kanji is 切, cut.

七(shichi) originally referred to cutting something, though it later came to mean the number 7, and 刀(katana) is a blade, so when you put both together, it means cut or slice.

Thanks for studying with me. また明日!

こんにちにゃ! Today I will be reviewing the kanji 社, company~

This kanji originally referred to the place a shrine was located, but today it's shifted to office or company.

I remember it as a billboard placed on the site of an office building.
