I've mentioned many times in oc/writing questions about a Victorian-inspired time period of the Fantasy concept. Where the magic crystals of the Caster era have been implemented into machinery known as Gears.
This is the Hex of that era, unrelated to the Hex of the Caster era.

Species concept.
their sacks (havent came up with a name for it yet) carry and produce venom that they can use in their spit. They have foldable vangs (it goes back into their mouth, like snakes) that they can use to pierce skin so their venom can get in.

It can work as a stand alone pic, but I will expand it and work on a skin concept.
But lumbago is very serious.
