I'm sorry but I needed to share this improvement, over 1 year >,>

A series of past comms featuring a belly dancer Mina Mongoose, all for the same comm-er. The 4th just recently finished. WHAT an improvement, in my personal opinion...

Those who know me on other sites may know who she's dancin' for...

Rly wanted to draw today, but since my creative juices weren't it today I made a rough redraw of the first ship art I made when I joined the fandom

Sorry the awful quality tho 😂

I still have - a lot - of room for improvement, but I've come so far 😭💕

decided to remake the trans flag

this is a huge improvement, in my humble opinion

~Hot spring vibes~
This is a redraw of a drawing I did 2 years ago! :D It's so weird seeing the improvement, but I'm (sorta) proud of it!

You've gotten to a skill level where it seems you're comfortable with your style to the point of it being second nature. A level of confidence shown in your art through how much you draw. While there always is room for improvement, l'm both jealous and proud of where you are now.

Okay Bulbapedia I see you, it’s defo an improvement, now if we could get full body without the feet or dress chopped off, it would be perfect.

Shame this other Iris can’t be used. Feel it would be perfect.

If you feel down about your artwork not being good, you will improve. It might not be immediate improvement, you might find multiple artist inspirations to shape you or you will need pauses thru the year/s. But don't give up!
For reference: one of my first vs one of my latest

Here’s some old draws (2019?) compared to newer ones. Not a huge improvement, but I think I’ve gotten better at framing and body language since the first two!

Here are my favourites (at the time) of my fine-lined pieces. Yeah, you can see some improvement, I think. ^^;

'20 - '22 redraw

bit of a but also a haven't been feeling my best lately, but I'm relatively proud of the improvement, especially in the anatomy, I struggle with sitting poses a lot

Bringing back a comic I've started and stopped several times now. Figure these guys were LONG overdue for some new refs.

Slowly getting used to drawing facial expressions this way. It's slow improvement, but still improvement.

I rlly like sharing character designs and seeing art improvement,
so for anyone who wants to share 👉👈

QRT with the first versus last drawing of your OC 👀

An improvement, but does make me like the original more.

Adelaide I think has the most improvement, being one of my older OCs

Art improvement, entomology style~ 2010-2022 🌿 I think I've gotten way better at colors not muddying, and breaking down insect/arachnid anatomy! Though, there's something charming about the rough shape language I used to use. My hands used to shake a lot, now they're steady. ✨

Not my oldest or newest but, here's a couple comic pages I made in 2004 and a couple from 2021.

It's hard to nail down where I improved the most. The lettering is, to me, the most obvious improvement, page composition next. But in terms of the art itself? The colouring I think.

This was the best I could do from my phone by switching to desktop mode.
Huge improvement, to be sure.
