Nasu originally didn't want to remake the original Mahoyo novel, but it was Takeuchi that eventually convinced him.

Takeuchi said he would die to do the art, but realized Type-Moon needed someone new. To bring Mahoyo to life, he decided it would be Koyama that would replace him.

Just finished Mahoyo and was left mind-blown. I already had high expectations, and this surpassed ALL of them.

Mahoyo has to be one of the finest works of Type-Moon.

A visually stunning masterpiece with one of the best possible ends.

Just 8 chapters in and Mahoyo has already established itself as one of best VNs of all time for me. The soundtrack and the scenario is kinda reminiscent of Umineko, which I found to my liking.

Can't wait to play the rest of it.
