Highly recommend all of these!! Im not caught up on Goon, Blacksad, or Saga, but they’re all such solid books! Some of my favorites as well. Others Id recommend would be the Hellboy spinoffs Abe Sapien and B.P.R.D.- not to mention Mike Mignola’s rendition of Frankenstein!!

Hellboy: Box Full of Evil (Aug. 1999); Mike Mignola (w, a). Sometimes you only need four panels to achieve sublimity. There aren't seven basic plots in fiction; there's only three, and all of them appear in these panels.

Another one of those "Mignola sweet spot" comics(along w/ Gotham By Gaslight and Dracula) where his style was at it's peak was the comic version of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser that Mignola did with Howard Chaykin and Al Williamson. Dark Horse collected it, and it's worth a read!

I found the piece.Voodoo I wasn't even penciling at this point. I'd drawn just a few comic drawings. I threw in a Everquest piece too. I penciled and Jim inked! Maybe from a year later. I can't remember. You can see my style overall has stayed consistent. Kinda Mignola-esque
