Poster legend seems to have a special fondness for the hero of the whip.
Lucas's idea. Spielberg's celluloid. Williams' score and your ink. Perfect alliance to create a myth.
Thank you, sir.

Finished reading Myth. Not even gonna bother to try to vaguely describe the experience, and I feel like I shouldn't anyway.
You should get into it totally blind. Towards the end it feels a little rushed and the non-linear narration might not be for everyone, but I liked it a lot.

Loch Iorsa on the Isle of Arran has it's very own monster myth.
The loch's name means 'loch of the serpents'. This serpent is perhaps a wurm: a dragon with no legs nor wings from folklore.

In BB, Izanami is the closest to her namesake of Shinto myth.

Her goal is to gift Death to mankind, akin to Izanami-no-Mikoto swearing to kill 1000 of the living everyday after her husband, Izanagi, left her in Yomi after being frightened by her appearance.

This is the Chenoo. An ice giant from Native American myth. They are said to have once been human but their heart was turned to ice due to some terrible deed done. They transformed into a towering monster with sharp teeth and claws wandering...

I’ve been listening to a number of great myths, legends and lore podcasts and they’ve all been great. Here’s work in progress of a closeup of an ice giant, also known as a Chenoo from Native American myth. I heard this particular story on the Mythology podcast.

You're supposed to be a myth. A being capable of spontaneous creation … This is Chaos Magic, Wanda. That makes you the Scarlet Witch. xD xD xD

Something for my Art History class at SCAD. We had to create a 16 frame animation, mimicking the old Zoetropes from early animation. The idea was to create our own version of the Sisyphus myth. I chose trying to put a USB in correctly.

The man... the myth... the legend.

What was that like?

Hi there. I paint Gods, Heroes and Monsters from ancient Myth. Mostly oil on canvas.

For the two I use for doodles here on Twitter, I based them on Myth and Urban Legends. Cara is based on Futakuchi-Onna and Meiko is based on the Classic 9 Tails Fox Spirit Myth.
Meiko seems to change a bit more, as I'm trying to find a way to display 9 tails decently.

Today we have La Llorona, a popular Latin American myth. La Llorona, or the Weeping Woman, tells the story of a mother who drowned her children and then herself, returning as a ghost who roams waterfront areas and drowns wandering children.
