this shot was actually heavily inspired by western cartoons (Powerpuff Girls, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force GO, Rise of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Lego Monkie Kid).

I also used TTGL as my primary source of reference, specifically Hiroyuki Imaishi's animation approach.
