There was a discussion that was recently had on a Ben 10 Discord server that really clicked to me. Some of the pop-up trivia felt like they were made by AF writers instead of OS writers. Like they were meant to set up the OS to fit in line with AF's continuity and retcons.

@Blazing9988 The biggest retcon I have was the complete replacement of the latter half of the fourth arc. I felt it was just a rehash of an earlier conflict that didn’t bring much to the table. So I replaced it with the return of an old friend who became a terrible enemy.
@Blazing9988 The biggest retcon was S-3's fate, originally he was gonna get killed in the US as a reference to that one robot who depended on kindness but was destroyed in like a day, but thanks to @HaleyJean_Tho, @steamachest and their Oc's he now lives a long and (mostly) happy life
