I love these variants but I desperately need better explanations for Samurott and Typhlosion. Typhlosion ESPECIALLY, as we'd evolved Quilava in Sinnoh in the original games and but only gives us a variant?

Typing wise it is Typhlosion. I like its lore too.

Design wise it is Decidueye

I do love Samurott tho, but it is so similar to OG Samurott I just see it as an improvement on the OG rather than a new forme.

BEAUTIFUL ART,but after seeing them in game for 3 weeks the models feel better🤣.I don’t like how bulky the 1st 2 are.Somehow Samurott actually looks the best-Decidueye is ok/solid,but this didn’t save Typhlosion for me,sorry😅.& the flames are a different color🤷🏼‍♂️

YES! Hisuian Decidueye is a “wandering”Ronin! And it seems Samurott went from a honorable/good samurai to a dishonorable/evil samurai…Typhlosion seems to be some type of spirit guide but honestly it’s kind of a boring explanation with not much added 🥲
