As for streamlining designs, I can't really think of any major changes. Pretty much all enemy designs were finalized in the GameCube era, with a select few being finished in SM64DS/NSMB.

The 2 I can think of that were redesigned in the Safe era are Rocky Wrench & Scuttlebug

I did this lesson with a hundred 4th graders while not knowing what I was doing.
So it’s very doable.
I’ll have the lesson ready tomorrow. It’s a streamlined process with less of the monkey business I did while designing it on the fly.
